In a region that is, once more, drawing attention from all over the world, Quinta do Pinto stands out by the delicacy with which combines the respect for the terroir and the most distinguished international wine varieties.

Concept
This late harvest was elaborated with time, dedication and with the desire to produce a differentiating wine, rich and expressive of our terroir and the freshness of the influence of the Atlantic coast. Result of a 3-year vintage of distinct harvests of 3 different varieties that complement each other in a unique way, in a wine of great quality, complex and elegant. We honor our grandfather António Manuel Cardoso Pinto with this wine, honoring his legacy, his passion for the world of wine and his taste for life!

Vinification
Each variety was harvested separately in different years (2017, 2019 and 2020), where the fermentation process was identical. The manual harvest in 20kg boxes, where the Chardonnay and Semillon varieties presented noble rot and the Fernão Pires presented only dehydration (raisin). Pressing the whole bunch in an open spout and later Fermentation in barrels used with indigenous yeasts for 3 months, until it naturally stops. The stage was always carried out in barrels until the batch. In February 2021 the 3 varieties were divided in parts.

Tasting

Cheeses, Foie gras, elaborate starters and desserts.

Golden yellow

Exuberant and complex, where initially notes of flowers, stone fruit, fruit in syrup, jam and dried fruits stand out.

Bulky and structured, in which its natural sweetness in a moderate amount is balanced by its acidity and salinity provided by our terroir. This allows for a very long and persistent aftertaste.
