Gardunha Sul is the name of the own project with which André Lourenço finally decides to move forward after 15 years of working side by side with some of the most relevant and influential winemakers in Portugal.
 
Winemaking
Lot of more than 20 traditional varieties of Beira Baixa, of which only 10 have already been identified – Partial destemming, treading, spontaneous fermentation in the mill. Pellicular maceration of 21 days. Aging in French oak barrels with 4 passages for 9 months.

Intense and opaque purple color.

Aroma with strong presence of fruits reds and spicy notes.

Elegant mouth, balanced structure, tannins present and with good acidity. Long and persistent aftertaste. Aging potential during some years.
