The time has come for Joana Pinhão to display her interpretation of what an elegant and fresh wine from the Tejo wine region can be. As if closing a circle, she is back to her origins after twelve successful years in the Douro. Joana is from Ribatejo, Alpiarça. In this region, the wine tradition is well rooted and of long memory.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, only in the morning to preserve the maximum freshness at night and preserve the maximum quality. When they arrive at the cellar, they are subjected to rigorous screening, followed by fermentation in a mill. It carries out the malolactic fermentation in barrels, opting for an 18-month aging in a used 500L French oak barrel.
