Robert Parker has declared him “best producer of Alentejo” and Wine magazine recognized him as “producer of the year” in 2015. Two decades were enough for the Quinta do Mouro wines to render useless any other presentation. The producers that achieve glory among the world elite of wine critics are very rare but in Quinta do Mouro this reconnaissance is as frequent as justified.
Vinification
Total destemming, fermentation in small stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 25ºC to 27ºC, intense and prolonged maceration, pressing in a vertical press.
