Viticulture Year
It was a very mild year: rainy winter, moderate temperatures during spring and summer had cool nights and balanced maximum temperatures. The harvest took place on the 6th and 7th of September. 
 
Wine Making
The harvest was done manually in small boxes of 15Kg, the grapes were pressed gently afterwards and the must clarified statically. Fermentation was done in stainless steel vats and 20% in used 3501 French oak barrels. 
 
Ageing
It happened for 8 months on fine lees with batonage only in the first 2 months. Bottling on July 18th, 2018.

Murgas Bucelas is a wine that expresses the strength of the Atlantic terroir in calcareous soils. It combines de elegance of Arinto variety with the minerality characteristic of limestone soils.

It pairs perfectly with starters, fish dishes, some white meat, cheeses and apple tart.
