VARIETIES

A traditional selection of the Douro region, with a careful selection of the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca varieties from the older vines with better exposure of our farms.

ENOLOGY

After manual harvesting of the bunches in individual boxes of 25 kg, the grapes were stalked and gently crushed, following the must for stainless steel vats where it was fermented at a controlled temperature (26ºC - 28ºC). There followed a 12-month stage in French oak barrels.

It is a wine that presents great complexity, elegance and aromatic intensity, where the floral notes, black wild fruits and spices stand out, surrounded by the good notes of wood where it staged.

In the mouth it is a warm, voluminous and complex wine with a balanced acidity that is supported by firm and ripe tannins that give it a very intense and persistent final.
